Rapier Practices
Listed below is a list of Regular Rapier Practices in each shire of Insulae Draconis:
Dun in Mara – Weekly Tuesdays from 19.00 to 20.30. St Brendan’s National School, McAuley Road, Artane, Dublin 5. Cost €6.25
Eplaheimr – Practices held at College of King's Lake.
King’s Lake – Weekly practice (term time only) Thursdays from 18.00 to 20.00, Count John McCormick Hall, Athlone Institute of Technology. Cost - free.
Flintheath: Saturdays from 12-2 at Studlands Park Social Club, Brickfields Avenue, Newmarket, Suffolk, CB8 7RX.
Glen Rathlin: No regular practice. Please contact the local rapier marshal if interested in arranging a practice.
Harplestane: Bimonthly practice at Craigmillar Castle. Please contact the local rapier marshal for further information.
Klakavirki: No regular practice. Please contact the regional rapier marshal if interested in arranging a practice.
Mynydd Gwyn: Fencing Practice 1st and 3rd Wednesday’s of the month at Singleton Park in Swansea. Fencing by the Sea, a garbed rapier practice held on a Saturday once every month, in Singleton Park, Swansea.
Pont Alarch: No regular practice. Please contact the local rapier marshal if interested in arranging a practice.
Thamesreach: No regular practice. Occasional Rapier Revels held. Please contact the local seneschal for more information.
